Description
Mastering phacochop technique is challenging for surgeons-in-training. We hypothesized if we dig two halls in opposite angles adjacent to capsulorhexis, mimicking a new lens equator, we may bury a chip and a chopper in an appropriate depth and then easily sandwich and chop the lens. We see our young doctors acquiring standard phacochop technique more safely after repeatedly practicing this method.
