Description
Any one-piece acrylic IOL is safely injected into the sulcus. The haptics are tucked, one at a time, through the CCC leaving the optic above the CCC. Benefits:

  • The whole IOL is never behind a CCC with an open posterior capsule.
  • Toric IOLs may be placed at the proper angle before ROC is performed.
Synopsis--A new technique to achieve ROC of single piece acrylic lenses in the event of posterior capsule tears.
