Description
Referred patient with cataract surgery two years ago with post operative refractive surprise of +2 diopters and posterior capsulorhexis. We have decided to implant a three pieces hydrophobic piggyback IOL in the sulcus to correct hyperopia. During the implantation the first haptic dislocated the implanted IOL to the vitreous. Both lens were explanted and a new third IOL was implanted in the sulcus.
