This video will showcase the three pillars of anterior segment support for successful IOL placement: anterior capsule, posterior capsule, and zonules. The video will illustrate the proper surgical management for when any one of three supporting structures becomes compromised. Important surgical concepts such as PPV, optic capture, PCCC will be discussed and illustrated.
