A surgeon’s desire is to have an uneventful surgery,in addition to providing a good post -operative outcome to any patient. But this objective becomes strenuous in challenging cases like advanced cataracts or in associated conditions like lens induced glaucoma,colobomas,uveitis.In such cases,we reiterate that a well-executed MSICS gives better than or equal to results as phacoemulsification.
