Course Description
Advanced cataract surgery requires accurate planning, perfect execution and impeccable refractive results.The faculty will analyze planning and intraoperative errors and technical caveats. Postoperative diagnostic workup, as well as resolving undesired final refraction or symptoms (i.e., glare and halos), will be discussed. The determinant role of tear film quality in achieving better and more precise biometry outcomes will be demonstrated

Educational Objective
At the conclusion of this course, the attendee will be able to discuss the state of the art in prevention, management and follow-up related to astigmatism management in cataract surgery. The most advanced technologies for making corneal astigmatism correction will be presented, including the IOLMaster 700 TK and Callisto system formats.
