To avoid parallax error from corneal marking a cystitome can be used to create a capsular mark on the anterior capsular edge after Toric IOL implantation. This marking is fashioned in a L manner and helps the surgeon to align the Toric IOL along the L mark. These flaps do not extend during OVD removal and help in monitoring post operative IOL rotation.
