This presentation discusses OCT interpretation in the setting of diabetic macular edema and retinal vein occlusions. OCT based criteria for treatment, replacing “clinically significant diabetic macular edema” are presented. Furthermore, OCT findings that are of prognostic significance, such as disruption of retinal inner layers (‘DRIL’), ellipsoid layer disruption are examined.
