The cataract of a 90 y/o patient with PXF, non-dilating pupil, and severe phacodonesis was removed through a 2.4 mm incision using capsular hooks. A BIflex IOL was implanted into the AC. Using a 6-0 Prolene and 27G needle the IOL was fixated while in the AC through the IOL double loop haptics. The IOL was placed in the posterior chamber for final positioning. Last, the unstable capsule was removed.
