During the cataract surgery, a cortical remnant was seen stuck in the iridocorneal angle. The surgeon set it loose going after it with the chopper. The next day, the patient had an inferior Descemet membrane detachment, with a visual acuity of 20/800. A suture of Descemet´s membrane was proposed. One month after the procedure, a visual acuity of 20/20 was recorded.
