Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the impact of OSD on cataract and refractive surgical outcomes and discuss which diagnostic devices are most helpful in the preoperative setting. 
  • Define the role of inflammation in OSD and differentiate between options for anti-inflammatory therapies. 
  • Identify the role of lid margin disease in OSD and review various options for treatment.
